Stuart A. Sobel, M.D.


Stuart A. Sobel, M.D. was born in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and the attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, graduating in 1972. A medical internship at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx was followed by a dermatology residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Sobel was Chief Resident 1975-76, and was a faculty member of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Sobel moved to Florida to begin the practice that is today Sobel and Sofman, M.D., P.A. He became board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1977 and served on the voluntary faculty of the Department of Dermatolgy and Cutaneous Surgery of the University of Miami. Dr. Sobel has multiple publications in the dermatologic literature and has been listed in Castle Connolly's America's Top Doctors since its inception in 2001. Top Doctors in the country as listed by US News & World Report.

Michael S. Sofman, M.D.


Michael S. Sofman, M.D. hails from Cranford, NJ. After graduating from Georgetown University, he attended UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School, graduating in 1985. He spent a year at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh doing an Internal Medicine internship, then went on to a dermatology residency at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He served as Chief Resident in Dermatology in 1988-89. He was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1989, and has served on the volunteer medical staff in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami. He has been listed in Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Consumers' Research Council's America's Top Physicians, Castle Connolly's America's Top Doctors - one of the Top Doctors in the country as listed by US News & World Report.
